More assistance for the BSL user in Scotland, only one niggle it is not captioned/subtitled but........ Then look at my local area ! Not a sign in sight........ ditto for the Police too...
Information in British Sign Language is now available on Inverclyde Council’s website for the first time. Following months of discussions with the local deaf community and Inverclyde Council on Disability (ICOD) people said they particularly wanted to be able to access information on anti-social behaviour and local walks.
Convener of Health and Social Care Councillor Joe McIlwee said "Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do and no one should feel themselves left out on any level. We have consulted closely with the deaf community and I think this is only the beginning. In the long term we hope there will be employment opportunities and a wider service."

What an daft assertion! Why do you need subtitles when you have text on the website to read!
From the Digital Spy site...
"Signing for the deaf on BBC 4:
Anyone who misses a transmission in the evening has probably taped the late night repeat only to discover the image broadcast is shrunken with a signer to the right hand side which is rather annoying (albetit I'm able to "screen out" the signer out after 5 mins or so). Is there any reason why Subs are not used?
Does BBC4 have red button capability? If so why not transmit a signed version via the red button? or indeed the non signed version? "
