Deaf wrestling Fans to get subtiles

Upstart campaign will make sure Deaf and Hard of Hearing wrestling fans will now get subtitles on all media releases.

Wrestling with Subtitles is a campaign that is trying to gather the attention of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and other wrestling enterprises to start including subtitles on their DVDs, Blu-Rays, and other media releases. Started by Max Zaleski, an American Sign Language student and avid wrestling fan; within days of its creation, the campaign (headed on social media site Twitter) caught the attention of WWE personality Dolph Ziggler.

Within a week, the cause had over 100 followers and had some big name endorsements from the likes of American Sign Language Comedian Keith Wann, former WWE Diva Gail Kim, and current WWE wrestler Jack Swagger. Mainly online, Wrestling with Subtitles has a strong presence on Twitter (Follow @WrestleSubtitle), and a fledgling Facebook page. The cause focuses on wrestling because, as of this writing, their releases do not include subtitles for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
