CI users: Accessing Music.

Accessing music for CI users..  Perhaps they will develop a system where deafened can access it ?  Recent claims of the concert in Cardiff of access were criticised by ATR for failing to include deafened people despite claims they were.  The concert was for deaf children too and totally distracted from any access.  Good for deaf children no use for deaf adults except if they had hearing, the only visual access was a pair of TV screens with coloured circles on, and dressing orchestra performers in differing colours.

It's access Jim, just not as we see it.  Just HOW do you provide access to sound if the person is deaf and doesn't get anything from vibrations ?  and with a hearing background able to compare ?  Not enough was explained that for deafened and others with a sensoneural loss, a range of frequencies cannot be accessed, especially in the string sections of an orchestra, and no surprises deafies were enjoying drums and Timpani mainly.

E.G. If you watch THIS Video without the sound on, what exactly do you get ?
