Making an emergency Call: Kent.

Everyone knows that if you find yourself in an emergency situation calling Kent Fire and Rescue Service out is as simple as dialling 999 on your phone.

If you are deaf or hard of hearing, however, this may not be a viable option for you, so it is also possible to contact Kent Fire and Rescue Service via a text message system which will enable you to provide all the information for our control room operators need to send the right sort of help.

All you need to do is start your message with the word RESCUE, followed by the type of emergency, such as fire in the kitchen or car crash, then the location. Send all that information to 60066 and the Kent Fire and Rescue Service will be on the way.
